Probasee Bengalee Association of New Zealand
Probasee was established in the year 1998 in Auckland. The organization was incorporated to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Bengal (India). It has been promoting various Bengali cultural events like Durga Puja, Dance and Drama (Natok), Bengali New Year etc. Probashi organizes its first Durga Puja in the year 1992 in Auckland.
The Association also maintains a Bangla Library in Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe which is open only on Sunday.
